Digital care plans, reviews and risks in homecareOS
Write each person’s plan once, in sections that follow your regulator, and put the right part of it in front of the carer at every visit. Risks, medicines, tasks and goals all hang off the plan, so nothing lives in a separate folder.
A Care Plan Your Carers Actually Read
Most care plans are written for the inspector and filed. In homecareOS the plan is what drives the visit: the tasks a carer ticks, the medicines they are prompted for and the risks they are warned about all come from it. An English plan is built on CQC’s quality statements and a Scottish one on the Care Inspectorate’s themes, with Wales and Northern Ireland covered the same way, so the plan follows your nation rather than England with the labels swapped.
What You Get
Sections That Match Your Regulator
About me, personal care, mobility, nutrition, medication, communication and the rest, each with its own review date, laid out against the framework for the nation you are registered in.
Care Conversations
Record a conversation with the person and their family, and homecareOS drafts the plan sections from it for you to check and edit, so the plan sounds like them rather than like a form. Available on the Pro plan.
Tasks on the Right Calls
Each task on the plan shows exactly which calls it is on, so the morning call gets the morning tasks and nobody is asked to do teatime medication at breakfast.
Risks, Medicines and Goals Linked
Risk assessments, medicines and outcome goals link back to the section of the plan they belong to, so a change in one place is seen everywhere it matters.
Documents and ReSPECT Forms
File a ReSPECT form, DNACPR decision or other document on the care plan, and choose which ones carers can read during a visit.
See What the Carer Sees
Preview the visit exactly as it will appear on the carer’s phone before you publish a change, so there are no surprises on the doorstep.
Built from a conversation, not a blank form
Care Conversations records the assessment conversation and drafts each section of the plan from it. You check it, change anything that is not right, and sign it off. The person’s own words stay in the plan. Care Conversations is available on the Pro plan.
