Know Who Is Trained, and Who Is About to Lapse

Training records are usually a spreadsheet that one person understands. In homecareOS you decide which courses are mandatory for your agency, every carer is measured against that list, and certificates are flagged as they approach expiry. New carers start the Care Certificate with all sixteen standards listed, and each standard is signed off with its own assessor and notes.

What You Get

Care Certificate Tracker

Start the Care Certificate for a new carer and all sixteen standards appear, using the March 2025 standard names, each with a status, assessor and notes.

Your Mandatory Training

Choose which courses are mandatory for your carers, add your own courses, and apply the list to existing staff in one step.

Expiry Warnings

Certificates are flagged as expiring from 30 days out and as expired once the date passes, on the carer record and the staff compliance screen.

Training Matrix

One report shows every carer against every course, so gaps are obvious and you have a matrix ready for an inspection.

Induction Checklist

A five-stage induction checklist on each carer’s staff file, with each task signed off, so you can show how a new starter was brought up to speed.

Linked to Staff Compliance

Training sits alongside DBS, right to work, references and supervisions, so one screen tells you whether a carer is ready to work.
