Invite a carer to the app

A carer needs an invite before they can sign in to the carer app and see their visits. The invite goes to their email address.

Live Every agency has this today.

Before you start

  • You need the carer's email address. Without it they cannot be invited and will not see their visits.

Steps

  1. Open People, then Carers

    Choose People in the menu, then the Carers tab.

  2. Add the carer

    Choose Add a carer and fill in their details, including their email address. Save.

  3. Send the invite

    On People > Carers, choose Invite beside the carer. HomecareOS asks you to confirm, then Send it sends the invite to the email on their record. The Invite button shows only for a current carer with no app login yet.

  4. The carer activates their account

    The carer opens the email, taps the link and chooses a password of at least 8 characters.

  5. The carer downloads the app and signs in

    Send them Carer: download the app and sign in.

Good to know

  • If the carer did not get the email, check the address on their record and use Resend invite.
